The Divine Pattern of Righteous Prayer:

A.    Righteous prayer focuses on the adoption of the Father. v. 9b

1.  Child-like trust

2.  Child-like reverence

 

Reflection:

1.  Knowing God as Father keeps our prayers from becoming legalistic.

2.  Knowing God as Father delivers our hearts from being cold and unmotivated.

3.  Knowing God as Father means that prayer is an expression of gospel-based faith.
