Where in the Church is the Gospel?

Part 6

Introduction/Review:

“Where in the church is the gospel?

I.     Does the church set forth the gospel as the promise of the grace of God?

II.    Does the church’s message center on Christ’s work and in particular what His death accomplished?

III.   Is the doctrine of justification by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone central in the church?

IV.   Is there a self-consciously gospel-centered logic—a gospel-trajectory—to the church’s corporate worship?

Lesson:

V.    Are the means of grace set forth as the chief aids for spiritual growth?
