There are at least two reasons why the gospel-way of obedience-pursuit of holiness- is so difficult and hard to learn. First, in Part 2, we learned that the gospel-way of obedience is far above the way you naturally think. Today, in Part 3, we will learn that the gospel-way of obedience requires double-the-work. This double work is a process of unlearning many of our old, deep-rooted notions of the way of life that the Bible calls holiness and learning the true gospel-way of obedience.
