To whom is the sacrament of baptism to be administered? All denominations practice believer’s baptism—the baptism of adults who make a profession of faith. The question concerning the recipients of baptism focuses on the practice of baptizing infants or small children who have not made a profession of faith. In order to understand infant baptism, you must understand baptism in its covenantal context in the Scriptures, particularly the Abrahamic covenant. In this message, we will examine four important points about Abraham and the Abrahamic covenant.
