Reflection:

1.  It is a blessing when the church has examples of older men to look to as   models of sound Christian character.

2.  Older men are to be leaders in the church.

3.  Let us be a church where older men are respected and involved with younger people.

4.  We must never forget that the picture Paul is painting here is of godly older men who are continually instructed by the gospel of grace.
